Sometimes, the journey holds the real story.
When we got off the train in Niagara Falls, we decided to walk to the falls instead of taking the bus. A good walk can teach you more about a place than Google ever will. That’s when we found Reg’s Candy Kitchen.
Reg, a local, opened this shop in 1967 when he was only 18 years old. The story of a young entrepreneur who turned his idea into something lasting—a space to welcome the millions of visitors who come to Niagara Falls, where Reg still greets them today with a smile and a cup of warm coffee.
I insisted on taking some pictures while inside—a small moment where I felt I was capturing just one more page of his amazing story inside Reg’s Candy Kitchen.
I came back home amazed by the grandeur of Niagara Falls, but I’ll always remember his story—a reminder that some places hold more than just history; they hold people like Reg.
